What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this to create your account and display your profile in the app.

When you save books or mark them as read, we store those preferences linked to your account so they persist across sessions.

How we use your data

• To provide personalized features (saved books, read tracking, filtered recommendations)
• To improve the app (understanding which features are used)

We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing emails.

Third-party services

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication. Your data is stored in their EU servers.
• Vercel — hosts the website. Collects anonymous analytics (page views, web vitals).
• Google OAuth — handles sign-in. We only receive basic profile info, not your Google password.

Cookies

We use cookies to maintain your login session and remember your theme preference (light/dark mode). No tracking cookies or advertising cookies are used.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can sign out to stop using personalized features — the app works without an account.
